The first treatment includes a detailed interview which can last up to two hours. Follow up treatments generally last about one hour. I prefer to see patients with acute symptoms about three times per week and reduce the frequency of treatments as the patient improves. I use Seirin Needles, considered to be the most pain free needles in the industry and have a very gentle touch. All of the needles I use are disposable and used one time only. Patients often fall asleep during the treatment, and leave the clinic feeling much more relaxed. I have a Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from The International Institute of Chinese Medicine in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I am licensed by the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners and certified by the National Certification for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. I am also a member of the Oregon Acupuncture Association. I recently completed a 400 hour mentorship locally and very fortunate to have studied with Dr. Richard Tan. |
